Prayer to the Holy Spirit

O Holy Spirit, remember your servant, Pope Leo XIV this day.

Breathe in him, O Holy Spirit,
that his thoughts may all be holy.

Act in him, O Holy Spirit,
that his work, too, may be holy.

Draw his heart, O Holy Spirit,
that he loves but what is holy.

Strengthen him, O Holy Spirit,
to defend all that is holy.

Guard him, O Holy Spirit,
that he always may be holy.
