Prayer to St. Peter for Fidelity to the Church

O glorious Saint Peter, Prince of the Apostles, to whom Christ entrusted the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, intercede for us in these troubled times. Strengthen our fidelity to the Gospel, guide us in unity with the Church, and pray that we may have courage, as you did, to confess Christ before the world—even unto death.

Obtain for us a sincere loyalty to our holy mother, the Church. Grant that we may remain close to the Roman Pontiff, thy heir in faith and authority, and pray that we may never be separated from the one, true, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church—outside of which, there is no salvation.

Grant that we may follow, in all humility and meekness, her teaching and advice, that we may be obedient to all her precepts, and that we may experience true peace in this life and everlasting happiness in the life to come. Amen.
